Biography
Aldo and Roberto Gemma are brothers, both composers. They live
in Italy and are international experienced. Their music
background is various.
They
play several instruments
and
collaborated with various artists,
such as Stewart Copeland, Joe Zawinul, Alice(Italian singer).
Aldo is a sound engineer too. He has a degree in film music and
music preservation. Both Roberto and Aldo have produced world,
classical
pop,
crossover
and film music and have a passion for melody and evocative sounds.

Aldo Gemma
Author and composer with a musical experience in studios
as well as in live performances. He has a degree in Preservation
of Music Heritage and is specialized in soundtracks and sound
restoration; he has worked as a music consultant for TV programmes
and documentaries, as well as a sound editor. Soundtrack composer.
He also deals with sound restoration of old Italian movies.
He is also the author of a radio documentary for the RAI (Italian
Radio) on the musical culture of Salentine Grecěa. He has
also written songs for other artists such Alice

Roberto Gemma
Instruments: accordion, piano, keyboards.
Many years’ experience as musician, arranger and producer in
studio recordings. He has recorded and produced many tracks
on singles, LPs and CDs He has played and worked with Italian
and international musicians: Daniele Sepe, Agostino Marangolo,
Joe Zawinul (“Notte della Taranta”, August 2000), Piero Milesi
(who arranged Anime Salve by Fabrizio De André), Stewart Copeland
(“Notte della Taranta”, August 2003). He was a composer, keyboards
and accordion player in the album Charade by Alice (WEA ), with
musicians such as Trey Gunn (bass, King Crimson) Paolo Fresu
and Mauro Spina. He also recorded a CD (’-Acustica) and a single
( Polygram) as musician and composer with the group Tiro a volo,
which won the Artemare prize chaired by Franco Battiato.
